Cholera baby hospitalised in E Cape

Cape Town – An 11-month-old child is in an isolation unit in East London’s Cecilia Makiwane Hospital after being diagnosed with cholera, the Eastern Cape health department said on Monday.

Spokesperson Sizwe Kupelo said the child came from Kwampundu village in the Newlands area, north-east of East London, where it was cared for by a grandmother.
